We emphasize hands-on training for a true real-world learning experience.  From designing a product to actually manufacturing it in our state-of-the-art FAME lab, our students learn the fundamental aspects of producing a project from start to finish. Penn State IE students, taught by top-notch faculty, are also involved in innovative research, co-op programs, study abroad programs, internships, and professional societies that further student development and prepare them for a fulfilling career.
